How do customers redeem store credit at checkout?

If a customer has available credits in their account and logs in before checkout, a store credit payment option will appear on the checkout page, as shown in the screenshot below:

While Koin primarily manages credit-earning flows, the redemption process is fully handled by Shopify.

If you’d like more control, such as hiding the store credit payment method for certain collections or when an order doesn’t meet a minimum amount, you can use a checkout customization app (e.g., qikify Checkout Customizer) to apply these rules.
