# What's New on the Mystery Box Builder Pricing

The **Pricing** page in Mystery Box Builder has a new layout. It now shows all plans side by side with a live cost estimator, a way to contact support about a custom plan, and — for stores already on a legacy paid plan — a banner explaining what happens if you change plans.

## 1. App pricing update banner for legacy paid plans

If your store is already on a legacy paid plan, the Pricing page now shows an **App pricing update** banner above the plan list. It explains that changing your subscription plan — or downgrading and later upgrading again — switches you to current pricing; otherwise, you keep your existing pricing. Click **Contact us** in the banner to ask about it in the support chat.

> **Note:** If you're on a legacy paid plan, your current price may be lower than the plans shown above — that's expected.

> ⚠️ **Important:** Changing your subscription plan — or downgrading and later re-upgrading — permanently switches your store to current pricing. There's no way to get your legacy pricing back through the UI.

## 2. Plan comparison

The plan comparison now shows all four plans side by side, each with its own **Choose this plan** button:

1. **Free** — $0, available for testing and setup only, 10 free box sales/month.
2. **Nitro** — $24.9/month, 100 free box sales/month.
3. **Booster** — $114.9/month, 500 free box sales/month.
4. **Prime** — $299.9/month, 1,500 free box sales/month, highlighted as the top plan.

Every paid plan also charges 2% of box sales (minimum $0.25 per box) once you go over its included monthly volume.

## 3. New "Estimate your app charge" calculator

A new **Estimate your app charge** card at the bottom of the Pricing page recommends a plan based on your own numbers. Enter your **Average price of each box** and **Total monthly box volume**, and it shows the recommended plan and the estimated monthly cost, including the extra per-box fee. With the default values ($10 average price, 2,000 boxes/month), it recommends **Prime** at an estimated **$424.90/month**.

The estimate updates as soon as you change either field — there's no button to click.

Entering **$50** as the average price and **200** as the total monthly box volume changes the recommendation to **Booster**, at an estimated **$114.90/month**.

## 4. Contact us for a custom plan

If none of the plans fit your business, click **Contact us** in the **Does our pricing not fit your business?** card next to the calculator. It opens the support chat with a message already filled in: *"I'd like to discuss the custom app charge plan."* The **Contact us** link in the App pricing update banner opens the same chat.
